• I have whole house vinyl flooring. I have used this same type scrubber for years. It may remove some of the shine. I feel normal wear and tear will do that as well especially in heavy traffic areas. I just love the really clean floors. Push mops and squeegee just don't compare

• I have vinyl floors and it works amazing! Use soft brushes and soap for vinyl. Test an area if you have doubts/questions.

• I think the nylon brushes would not harm vinyl

• You can use vacuum setting with brush turned off.
