• It appears to stayed charged quite a while, but we make the habit of recharging after each cleaning use.

• Easily a week, I use it for cleaning small areas at a time and not large areas.

• Hi Dandi! The battery will hold its charge for a long time, but after a month or more you may see a loss of charge. We recommend leaving the battery in the charger while not in use. -Michael, Hoover Customer Care
