• To turn the vac on, you turn the little wheel to the first or second level (if you want bristles moving or just suction). You do not hold down a button.

• The Hoover LiNX Cordless has a switch to turn the power on and off that you do not need to hold down while cleaning. Thanks, Joseph - The Hoover Team
