Can you use this vacuum on shag carpet? null

I have used it on shag carpet by lightly going over it quickly using the higher setting but it really isn't meant for this type of carpeting. It does work but be careful not to overwork the vacuum on type of carpet. You will find that you will need to empty the cannister often.

I do not think it would on shag. I use on hardwoods.
