“I can't get the filter out to clean it. HELP! And the roller does not "roll" Not happy”

Did you keep your owner's manual? All the directions for removing the filter are in it. I did find a little confusing the first time, but once you figure it out, you'll be fine. Regarding the roller, are you turning the control wheel all the way down? I didn't realize at first that there were two different control options. I hope this helps and didn't sound condescending. For the brush roll, there are three settings. O -OFF, I -Suction ON and II -Suction and Brush roll ON. For the filter, Once you remove the dirt cup all you need to do is pull the cap off and the filter inside the cap.
