Hello LadyA, In terms of suction, you will receive the same amount from both units. The major difference is that the base Blade model will provide 26 mins of continuous fade-free run time, while the Blade Max will receive 45 mins of continuous fade-free run time. Thank you! Matt - Hoover Team
