best buy has a 15 day return policy and 30 for elite customers one of the reasons I purchased there to be able to try it out and make sure it did a good job on my carpets I think its a great machine for the price and works similar to the larger ones

Please try again later.The only reason why you'd be able to return this product is if it had a defect when you turned it on or if the carpet cleaner had a broke or missing part. You'd be better off renting a carpet cleaner or asking a friend for one. I too have a high carpet and i have no issues with it. Hope this helps.
