For the most part, yes. If you catch it fresh and blot up as much as you can with paper towels before using the machine. If the stain has set, it's about 50/50 on whether you can get the entire stain out or not. Just make sure you buy a cleaning solution that is specifically made for pet stains. I also pre-treat the set-in stains and that seems to help some.

Yes, but you MUST use the pet cleaning solution.

I used thie professional cleaning solution along with Bissell Oxy Boost added and, yes, it removed the stain and odor. I also used an enzyme cleaner to pretreat before using the carpet cleaner.
