“Can I use the Power Scrub on hard floors or dry carpet cleaning?”

• It needs water to keep the dust down, so no on dry carpet. I use mine on the kitchen tile, you have to mop up extra water around edges.

• Would not recommended on hard floors, a fair amount of water is used when cleaning carpet. The instructions also suggest not cleaning area rugs over hard floors because of the amount of water used. No dry carpet cleaning, it does dry them pretty well though. I do recommend the machine though, in all honesty they look better than when I've had them professionally cleaned.
