To avoid wetting and possible damage to wood floors underneath area rugs/carpet, we recommend either move area rugs/carpet to a non-wood hard floor surface or place waterproof material (e.g. plastic) underneath them before cleaning. • Yes it would. Take them outside and use your car garage, car port patio or side walk. It takes longer for them to dry when they sit on top of hardwood floors.
