“My Hoover power scrub is using cleaning solution during the rinse cycle. It is my first time using this one. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong appreciated”

Make sure the dial is all the way on rinse,and there is enough clean water,you could try empty the cleaner tank then see what happens on rinse. Never had a problem with mine works better than commercial units, also make sure to clean unit good after using that includes by the bottom rollers. Good luck
