• Hey misty, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend using the Power Scrub Deluxe for high profile shag carpet. Power Scrub Deluxe will clean shag, however it could mat the carpet and tangle the fibers of some high profile shag carpets due to the SpinScrub brushes that spin circularly to clean deep dirt and stains from all directions. • You can use it any where but if carpet is too dirty then you need to work a lot.
