how much detergent are you supposed to put in ? Not the whole bottle Im thinking. I see that people used other mixtures but Im still not sure how much to use . null

You fill the solution compartment with soap, and the Water compartment with hot water, and it dispenses by itself. Also put a couple table spoons of Table salt in the Dirty Water receiver to keep the suds down. Salt is a lot cheaper than the defoamer solution.

The solutions vary in amount depending on the bottle. We recommend reading the bottle instructions first, then referring to your user guide for it's recommended instructions. For Power Scrub, the solution is automatically mixed as you clean, so you can fill as much as you need and refill when it is empty if you are still cleaning. Thanks, Joseph - The Hoover Team
