• Thank you for your question! The Power Scrub Elite will not reach temperatures that are not normal for a carpet cleaner or vacuum. It will not heat the water or burn your carpet, and the cleaner itself will not noticeably heat up while cleaning. It is safe to operate and even includes a Thermal Protector which will turn your cleaner off should it start to overheat (which would likely be the result of a clog).
