• Hello Mom, No worries, all questions are valid! Unfortunately, the Hoover Power Scrub Elite Corded Upright Deep Cleaner can only be utilized to clean the carpets. We actually do recommend taking a traditional vacuum cleaner to the carpet before using this carpet cleaner to have better efficiency. Thank you! Matt - Hoover Team
