Hi Doug, Oh no, that doesn’t sound too good. We want to help. This sounds like something our service technicians may need to take a look at. Your model has a limited manufacturer’s warranty that covers any manufacturing defects at no cost to you. In order for any warranty work to be completed, a copy of the receipt must be provided to the designated service center at time the product is taken in for service. Retailers may be able to reproduce a copy of your proof of purchase.
