• Hello QuickQ, the difference is the FH50251 tanks are larger at 1.25 gallons and cleaning path is 12 inches and FH50150 tanks are 1.0 gallons and cleaning path is 11.5 inches. Hope this helps! -Doug, Hoover Customer Care
