• No. However, it sucks it up pretty well and if you live in a warm area it will dry very fast. Put a fan in there to circulate the air and dry it faster. I'm not aware of any carpet cleaner that also warms the carpet to dry it.

• No. You have to leave it to dry. It distributes water/detergent according to your handle button. It did a great job for high traffic areas. And that helps for the professional’s visit once a year.
