• I'd say no. It's because it doesn't have a hose and separate attachment so it would be very clunky to do steps.

• No because you cannot run the machine sideways and there is no hose or handheld attachment. It does the top side of the stairs fine however, with a bit of maneuvering.

• Top of stairs okay but it is a little large for stairs and you can't do the edge. If you find something that works on stairs let me know. Otherwise it works very well on carpeting
