• There's no reason why it shouldn't. It's a very good product and you can actually see the dirt being sucked up. This is not 20 minute machine. It may take you 2hrs with 3 dogs.

• Hello, This unit cannot be used as a vacuum and we actually recommend taking a vacuum to the carpet before using this machine. This will extend the life of the unit and prevent any clogs that can potentially damage the unit. Thanks! Matt - The Hoover Team
