The machine wets the carpet and then dry-sucks the water out of the carpet. So cool. Kinda fun to watch the dirty water being sucked up by the transparent nozzle.

Takes a few hours to dry. Can use plain hot water too

Yes it drys as you clean ,only takes a few hours to completely dry.
