Q: QuestionCan you use tap water with this unit? Also can you use liquid floor cleaner in the water?
Asked by tbootsie.
- A:Answer Yes usually dilute a liquid floor cleaner with warm tap water. If you use too much cleaner, you may develop a foam over your cleaning area. Also, we found that over a period of time, both plastic reservoirs turn cloudy according to which cleaner you may use. You should clean the dirty water reservoir and the bottom of the machine after every use if you want to keep these items from having an odor due to what you may have cleaned off the floor. If you have pets, the brush area and plastic cavities will need to be cleaned due to the dog hair/fur that was sucked into the machine with the water.

Q: QuestionCan I use this product on carpet ? If not, what would be best overall Hoover vac for multi-surface!
Asked by PRADO.
- A:Answer No. This is strictly a hard floor cleaner (tile, vinyl plank, SEALED hardwood). This will prevent you from having to mop or get on your hands & knees. If you have kids and/or pets, it's a lifesaver.

Q: QuestionSorry this may be obvious but I want to make sure, is this a vacuum mop all in one type of hardwood floor cleaner? As in it will pick up debris such as pet hair, etc and mop at the same time?
Asked by VacuumMop.
- A:Answer Best practice to use this machine: 1) Use a vacuum or Roomba to get all the loose dirt off the floor; then 2) Use on the floor. You will get better results if you vacuum first. I wouldn't call it a "mop." It is a smaller version of those "Zamboni-type" machines you see in hospitals & schools. Also, DO NOT USE ON HARDWOOD FLOORS...unless the hardwood is well sealed. You will strip the wood, discolor it, & warp it. You MUST have it sealed well. It picks up all kinds of debris. Your floors will be very clean.
