“Can this be used on hard wood floors too. Can it clean a matress easier than a hand held spot bot type cleaner I only have one carpet and don't want to put that much money into something with such a limited purpose.”

Thank you for your question! SmartWash+ is not intended for use on hard floors, but it does come with a hose and upholstery tool so you can clean stairs and upholstery easily. I would also recommend checking out the Hoover Spotless GO which is a cordless hand held spot cleaner, however if your carpet is a large carpet, SmartWash is better suited for your needs.
