“How does it do on longer carpets ? I have a large area gig that has like a half high pile as an old fashioned shag carpet Light color hoping the brushes can handle short and longer piles”

Hey JB, Thank you for your question! The Hoover - SmartWash + Upright Deep should work great for your setup! SmartWash has FlexForce™ PowerBrushes that gently remove deep dirt, debris and pet messes from carpets is good for short pile carpets, while it still gets deep into long pile carpets. However, shag carpet with any carpet washer can get matted down and twisted by the brushes. If this happens you may need an alternate method to clean your carpet such as a steam cleaner without revolving brushes. Thanks, Joseph- The Hoover Team
