Hi CarolineAngel! Cat litter shouldn't harm the machine. However, your Hoover will require more maintenance to keep it operating properly. We recommend rinsing the primary foam filter every 2-4 uses and replacing the filters every 3-6 months depending on usage. If you have any further questions, please reach out to us via Facebook, tweet us @HooverUSA, or give us a call at 1-800-944-9200. Thanks! ~Kenya, Hoover Customer Care
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 2 cats, I have used the crevice tools for every thing from cat hair to cat litter. I've even got a screw here and there. It picks up jus about anything. I recommend emptying it often as it tends to fill quickly. No damage to it to date.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do it all the time but let me be specific. I only vacuum the cat littler that gets kicked by the cats out from inside the box to the floor. It wont damage it that way but i would assume it would if its thick with big rocks
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Vacuum has built in filter for fine dust, this is located and easily accessed in top of canister for cleaning. If left uncleaned overtime it will not allow machine to run until cleaned. Easy to empty canister catches dirt reliably, great machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used this vacuum on cat litter, and have had no problems at all.
