• Like any product, I would take a picture with my cell phone and always lay out any pieces in the order they come out. It is very easy to replace the belt.

• Hi there! The belt is changed by removing the top of the main nozzle body. There are 4 screws on the top that need to be removed. Once removed, the top can be taken off. From here, you remove the brush roll and can then remove the belt. If you would like to refer to a manual, you can find a PDF version at the Hoover.com website! -Michael, Hoover customer care
