Yes a washable filter and the entire wind tunnel (where the dirt and dust bunnies and dog and cat hair is collected) is washable.

Hi! The WindTunnel 3 High Performance has a foam filter and HEPA filter. The foam filter is washable, however must be air dried for at least 24 hours. The HEPA filter cannot be washed. Please let us know if you have more questions! ~Kenya, Hoover Customer Care
