This WindTunnel 3 will feature more power than the WindTunnel Max, as the WindTunnel 3 utilizes 12 cyclones compared to 2 cyclones on the Windtunnel Max. - Answer No this unit is not self propelled. From my understanding self propelled vacuums start moving without having to be directed or pushed, this vacuum requires a person to push it in the direction that needs to be cleaned.
