“When remapping the wheel playing Need for Speed, I remapped the gas by changing ZR to ZL. Now, both buttons are gas and I have no brake. What did I do wrong. Please advise Thanks”

Somehow you found the shortcut to changing the controls. If you go into the device settings it will allow you to reprogram any button of your choice to the brakes.
