Do we have to use a lighter to light this oven? null

Hello, Good question! We appreciate the interest and we'd be happy to help. We found that you do not have to use a lighter to ignite this oven. In the event of a power failure, the oven is inoperable and no attempt should be made to operate it. However, the surface burners may be lit with a match. Hope this helps! -Sylvia@GEA
