Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - Thank you for your interest in a new Hotpoint washer. If you choose a load size other than Precise Fill, you will be able to leave the lid open while the washer is filling. Bear in mind, if you inadvertently leave the lid open for fifteen minutes or longer with water in the tub, the washer will automatically cancel the cycle and drain the water from the tub.
