“re-asking my question. Not answered with your generic response! Hotpoint washer when temp is selected and the lid is open the water comes out the correct temperature requested. As soon as you close the lid, it switches to fill only cold. Why? Broken?”

Hi there - We appreciate you reaching back out to us! We're happy to clarify. As the washer has a set temperature to reach, it is normal for the water to switch from hot to cold. However, if you feel you need it, or that your unit is not behaving as it should, you can take advantage of your warranty by calling 1-800-432-2737.
