“Where is the control for the oven light? I like to look in & see how things are baking. Do I have to pull the stove away from the wall to access the battery?”

There is no oven light inside. And the battery access is inside the broil door. It is very easy to get to and change.

The battery compartment is accessible from the front of the range. You would not have to pull the range away from the wall to change the battery.
