• Chromebooks run ChromeOS. It uses apps from the Google Play Store. You can get versions of the MS Office apps to run on it. Think of it like a big Android phone.

• It's a Chromebook, so it uses the Google Chrome operating system instead of Windows. It also doesn't have Office, but there are programs available from the Google Play store that will let you create and read Office compatible documents. It's also got links to several games and some "productivity" software with things like a picture or video player.
