No, this 2-in-1 Chromebook does not come with 256GB SSD.

You will use Google docs, it doesn't need or come with Microsoft products so that saves you 60gb of storage. My daughter loves the speed and how many taps she can have open at once and the extra features this one has over the less expensive HP chromebooks. We bought the cheaper chromebook to compare (took it back) and this is much better hands down.
