Thank you for the question. Many people use a Chromebook for remote work, especially if it's mostly with online applications. You can use Microsoft 365 online, or Google Docs, however, you'll need to review the system requirements of any specific apps you'll need to know their compatibility with Chrome. The 14-db0033dx Chromebook has an SD card slot, important if you wish more than the included 32GB of storage. You can also use Cloud storage or connect an external hard drive. You might find multi-tasking more efficient with 8GB RAM instead of 4GB.
