Yes it comes with WordPad, the built in Windows word processor. It is a good solid one for most people. If you need a word processor with good formatting, this is all you need. No need to buy Microsoft Word. An even more basic Windows text editor is Notepad. Both WordPad & Notepad have come free with all Windows versions for years. Just search for either one within Windows.
