Hi, am not sure what you are able to do to increase the speed. However this is a basic computer with no bells or whistles. I f you purchased tech support , Then I would speak with them to see what they suggest . From the price of the computer and conversation I had , it was what I expected . I just wanted a computer to use to pay bills and go online once in awhile. I
