Hi Jacob! Thanks for your question. You can only do light gaming on this PC. This is not a gaming laptop. Games like Minecraft and Fortnight have high system requirements and require a dedicated Graphics Processing Unit(GPU) I recommend a gaming laptop with a GPU for serious gaming. To answer your question, you would see some improvement, but the processor and GPU are the main limiting factors.
