Drew, thank you for your follow-up question! A USB-C hub handles data and low-bandwidth peripherals like a flash drive or a mouse. The hubs are universal. You cannot connect a second monitor to this laptop, even through a hub.. The HP Pavilion, OmniBook, Envy, and Spectre series all have the USB-C ports to support multiple external displays through pre-equipped HDMI ports and USB-C or Thunderbolt docks that have HDMI or DisplayPort.
