• A:Answer Yes, the laptop includes a 30 day trial version of McAfee LiveSafe™ that can be renewed for a year at a time. Windows 10 has built in disk tools that may be able to do that for you. Also you can switch out of S mode and download any apps to help with file recovery. • A:Answer Yes, you could play Minecraft on this laptop, however, the requirements to run Minecraft smoothly are: CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz / AMD A10-7800 APU 3.5 GHz or equivalent. RAM: 8GB. GPU: GeForce 700 Series or AMD Radeon Rx 200 Series. This laptop does not meet these specs.
