• Most laptops will not have a disk drive anymore. But you can use an external USB disk drive as a replacement.

• Don't know. Most all laptops don't come with cd slots these days. I just bought a usb cd player for burning and playing cds. Cost about $20.00. Plug and play. Hope this helps.
