“I know absolutely nothing about computers. I'm looking for something cheap just for my 12 year old daughter to play Minecraft and SIMS. Not looking to download anything other than that and the occasional MOD pack. Would this be suitable?”

Chromebooks do not support Windows versions of those games, but you can use any apps from the Google Play store, including Minecraft and Roblox (but not currently SIMS).
