“Aren't the specs in this model identical to the newly listed "Chromebook Plus" version? Anything I'd be missing my spending 1/2 as much?”

Hi Thad. It can be confusing. HP is rolling out units labeled "Chromebook Plus", but some existing models meeting the hardware requirements will also support the more robust software, AI capabilities, and more. The hardware requirements for Chromebook Plus are: Processor - Intel i3 or higher, or AMD Ryzen 7000 series and higher. RAM - 8GB or more, Storage: 128GB or more, and an IPS display of 1080P resolution. Going forward, there will be two classifications for any Chrome OS device: a normal Chromebook or a Chromebook Plus.

They are, I think they just want to sell the stock off, so they can sell it rebranded worth the plus
