“I am looking to use this computer for email (through browser), Photoshop, itunes & Microsoft office.. Would everyone recommend it for these purposes?”

Yes, I would recommend it for those activities. I've been using it for all of those activities as well for a few months and I've had no issues whatsoever.

It will do fine for those operations. I use primarily for the basics, too and I' happy with it.
