Yes, you can put Windows 7. I bought one of these laptops on 4/2/2017. I upgraded the hard drive to SSD and installed Windows 7. The computer is insanely fast! You just need the Windows 7 RTL8188EE wireless driver (current version is 2023.42.831.2016). After installing Windows 7, install the wireless driver, then use Windows Update to get the rest of the drivers. You can get the wireless driver here on Microsoft's website: http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=2023.42.831.2016

I suppose you could, but why would you want to go back to Win 7 when it comes with Win 10 installed?
