This lap top's weight is very light. For normal operations and simple tasks. HDMI and USB Ports, CD, DVD, ROM reader. Convenient for easy projects paying a low price for it.

The past few years I've tried a few Best Buy laptops that were other brands, something was always just not quite right, but I've stuck with HP for decades and it always pays off. The laptop lives up to my expectations for the brand, ease of use is fine, a bit of learning Windows 10 is going well, speed is good, and it's "comfortable". I got a "Best Buy" on it at $60 off. Ordered it over the phone, picked it at the store, everything went smoothlly and was able to take it home that day with the data transferred from my HP desktop. I'm 50 miles away from the nearest Best Buy so am relieved to have a backup computer.

If you are like me. You just need better storage and good performance. This computer works great, I bought it less than a month ago, installed Linux, and I am already producing music and video with it. Don't be expecting a supercomputer for industrial use, because this is not that. But for a stay at home computer for basic needs, this will do just fine.

This has been the best laptop I have ever had, It's lightweight and does everything I could possibly do.

A lot of memory, very fast. Really is a very good buy. I love my laptop.

The price on this laptop is incredible to get the AMD equivalent of an Intel i3 mobile series processor. In fact the AMD graphics capability might be slightly better! The hard drive is the slower speed of 5400RPM but unless you are very demanding of load times, you probably won't notice any difference from a 7200RPM for daily use. Cheers

Adequate Windows based computer. Very inexpensive. But, has a cheap plastic feel. If it is not used a lot, it is a good deal. If I were to use a computer of more than an hour per day, I would not be happy with this machine.

This laptop is great for multi tasking purposes and is great for surfing thew internet.

This was a gift for my 12 year old son, and it is a great first laptop for him.

Best Buy is the best wholesale store for electronic

This was the most challenging laptop I ever purchased or used. It freezes often, and is exceptionally slow to start or process commands.

I started on line courses in May after I purchased what I thought was a reliable computer. I am so disappointed that after 3 months the computer won't even load up the home screen. Since I didn't get the extended service plan I am totally stuck with a brand new hardly used LEMON!!!!!

First of all it ceases to amaze me that people think and expect they are getting a top of the line laptop when they purchase this. If you want a laptop that plays intense games and you want 50 programs to run at once, etc. then look else where. This is a budget laptop that is good for basic stuff like surfing the net, emailing, light office stuff and you can play casual games and movies too. I watched Netflix on it and had no problems however It does not have a great graphics card so don't expect 4K quality. Performance is respectable from the 2 GHZ AMD Quad Core processor, much better than expected at this price point. It boots up for me into Windows without a password in a little over 20 seconds. It has 4 GB of RAM and has an open slot that can be upgraded to 8 GB if I'm not mistaken. Which is the only thing I plan to do to this laptop. 500GB 5400 RPM HD, USB3 and two additional two USB2 ports, HDMI, ethernet, memory card slot, LEDs for HD operation (which seem to be missing from some models in recent years). CD/DVD burner included along with a camera and microphone. Sound is average and not very loud. Keyboard is real nice but not back lit. WIFI connects to my network great and is no problem for me. Battery life is around 3 hours or less from my experience depending on what you do. It's also quite light at less than 5 pounds and is made out of black hard plastic. Smudges and finger prints aren't too bad. The screen is glossy so it has a glare if your working near sun light. Touchpad is good but you might have to get used to it. I have no problems with it. I got this for $199 out the door which I think is just a great deal for this laptop. Some people got this for $170 during Black Friday which is a real steal. If your looking for a really good budget laptop this is for you. Wait till Best Buy has it on sale and you will get a bargain too.

Since it isn't necessary to have a really big hard drive, or very much RAM, in order to use Microsoft Office and the rest of the simple tasks usually done around a home in the day to day tasks of life, a laptop with 500 GB of storage and adequate memory is more than enough. This computer is far more than enough to accomplish all of that! And, with a built-in 10-key and wide format screen this little beauty is a steal for the price! It is more than fast enough, and easy to use. It's light and very portable. All in all, most definitely worth the price!

For the price, this is an excellent choice given lightweight, good memory and speed.
