Most laptop makes noise when they heat up because the fan has to spin faster to keep the laptop cool, and sometimes with older laptop if they are loud or heat up quick , their may be dust in the fans or vents that is reducing air flow, usually some compressed air in the vents where the dust is helps keep it from getting to loud and reducing air flow which leads to overheating and loud fans.
