“Does the hard drive make a "crackling" sound? I just bought this laptop and noticed the sound is quite audible. I thought such noise was more subdued on modern laptops.”

• It should not be loud. you can hear it working quitely.

• Almost all hp laptops have that sound, is pretty normal so dont worry
