The keyboard is plenty sturdy and feels like it could survive anything. But the keys are much more low and flat than the ones on my older laptop, and my long nails tend to hit neighbor keys more than I used to. I make more typos that I'm having to constantly correct than before, but hopefully I'll get used to it. If you don't have nails, it shouldn't be a problem. And with nails, you may have to adjust to it. If you have really long nails, consider a different keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is complicated to describe, I would recommend going to your local store and check one out. All of our HP models use this keyboard.
